I love Christmas…all the pretty lights and the warm cozy smells make me nostalgic of my childhood.  I remember being so excited to buy a new outfit to wear at my aunt’s house for Christmas Eve.  None of my cousins dressed up for the occasion, but I always loved to!  So when my girl Lisa aka Mustang Sally Two asked me to be in her look book I just couldn’t resist.

Both of us are wearing a SexyPlus Clothing piece that we both adored.  This dress is perfect for a work Christmas party or Christmas with the family or Church on Christmas day.

Last week I was invited to David’s Bridal in Mississauga, Ontario to preview their Spring 2017 collection.

 The lovely staff at David’s Bridal showed us the different styles of gowns from a variety of designers including White by Vera Wang,  Truly by Zac Posen, Wonder by Jenny Packham, Cheers by Cynthia Rowley and more!

Now here’s the wonderful amazing spectacular news:

All gowns at David’s Bridal go up to a size 26!!!!  Some even go up to a size 30!!!  I’m serious!

There is no need to feel anxious when going to try on wedding gowns.  This should be a memorable, happy and comfortable part of your wedding experience.  At David’s Bridal you will get the experience you have always dreamed of!  I’m not married (yet) but when my guy pops the question I know where i’ll be going.

After the lovely ladies showed us around and explained this exciting news, they offered to give us the special bridal experience of trying on gowns.  At first I was reluctant because I didn’t want to jinx myself (waiting for the ring) haha….but I just couldn’t resist!

First they measure you to see which size would be the perfect fit for your body.  This is a very important step.  As a model I cannot stress how important fit is in a garment, especially one as special as your wedding gown.

Then they asked questions about my taste in clothing and my personality…my favourite question was “Which Disney princess do you like best?”  That was easy for me, Cinderella was always my favourite.

The lovely stylist took me directly to the perfect gown….and it had pockets!

Ladies, this was such a great experience.  I wish this experience for every woman who has dreamt of marrying their prince charming.  You deserve it!

I could spend EVERYDAY in active wear (and I kinda do)…but to wear it for the purpose of being active requires pieces that are functional and make you feel great.  I love the Nola collection from Addition Elle.  I have a number of pieces (in doubles) because they meet all my needs…workouts, lounging, and anytime!

Let me introduce The Spy swimsuit from Ashley Graham’s collection at Swimsuits For All.

It popped off the page when I ordered it.  I loved how unique this piece was and how versatile it could be….I thought about how hot this would look as a top, it’s absolutely perfect!!!!!!!

I met IBBI in Montreal at Montreal Plus Fashion Week.  They were accompanied by the beautiful Rosie Mercado who helped me choose this dress.  These dresses are QUALITY.  They make you feel strong and gorgeous.  This blue and white striped dress called my name right away!
